3.Characteristics
6CrNiMnSiMoV is a high strength, low alloy, cold work die steel, developed by huazhong university of science and technology.
The carbon content of steel is slightly lower than the general tool steel, in order to assure the hardenability, containing
Cr, Mn alloy elements. Also containing Si, Mn, two elements which are higher than the strong and refined grain elements Mo,
V, but its alloy < 5%.
4.Applications
1)The steel can be instead of CrWMn、9M2v、GCr15、9CrSi、60Si2Mn、C1-12,to manufacture all kinds of cold extrusion, LengChongJi precision mold.
2) Can be used in the production of thick plate shear blade, the total service life l more than double than 9 CrSi steel.
3)Used as flame hardening steel and cold work mould, which can improve the service life many times.
4)GD steel cold stamping die and quenching process,Cold press the brass waveguide flange over 800 units of9 mm thickness .
5) GD steel especially adapted to the cold stamping die given priority to with its blade and fracture failure.
6) Can be used for hot-work die steel.
7) Can be used to warm boron press mold.
8) Can be used to manufacture precision hardened plastic mould which has the high tenacity and patience certain, etc.
9) Using isothermal quenching and tempering specification can make GD steel M8 trimming die have the best strong toughness and wear resistance,
