3.Characteristics:
The steel has good performance of forging, machining and heat treatment process, having the high hardness at high
temperature, but its toughness and plasticity is poorer, hardenability is medium, the thickness of section between 80 ~ 100 mm
or less can be hardened. The transformation temperature of steel phase is higher, the thermal fatigue resistance is good, and has
a lower carbon content, to ensure the high toughness and good thermal conductivity, and contains more element chromium,
tungsten easy to form the carbide, with high hardness and strength at high temperature.
4.Applications
3Cr2W8V steel can be used to make high temperature under high stress, but the punch, concave die,not affected by impact load,
such as horizontal forging machine with intensive, set pieces, copper alloy extrusion mold, die-casting mold, such as the backward
extrusion mould; Can also be for the heat stress of hot metal cutting knife, etc.
