3.Theory:
High hardness and wear resistance after quenching and tempering, but low hardness,
low hardenability and heat, easy to deformation, low plasticity and strength.
4.Applications:
1.Used to make integrated M12 bolt cold heading die, quenching hardness 57-59 HRC, life can reach 6000 pieces.
2.For manufacturing cold heading truck carriage bolt concave die, φ8.9*90mm concentric cylinders,using the inner
hole spray quenching to form surface hardening layer which is helpful to improve the fatigue resistance, whose life
can reach more than 20000 times.
3.Used in production of rivets, 51-53 HRC hardness after quenching, die life is more than 7000 pieces,but after
quenching , hardness larger or smaller, the life is lower.
4.Used in manufacturing punch, after ultrafine carbide treatment under low temperature quenching, which can improve
ten times of tne punch life compared to ordinary quenching processing.
5.Used in the manufacturing general tensile modulus of concave and convex die, when making punch, chooses 58-62 HRC
hardness; Choose hardness 60-64 HRC when to do die.
6.Small size, simple shape, light load of cold work mould and heading die which doesn't require deep hardening layer and keep
the high toughness , etc., such as small punch, shears scissors.
7.After treatment by carbide ultra-micronization, the punch of the steel can be reduced the cleft significantly in order to improve
die life by 10 times for low temperature quenching.
