3.Corrosion resistance
Austenitic heat and corrosion resistant alloy, which has the strength and resistance to carburizing,
the combination of oxidation and thermal shock.
This alloy is designed for high temperature industrial environments.
Carburizing, thermal cycle and good resistance are necessary, as in the application of heat treatment industry.
Carburizing and oxidation resistance to around 2100°F depends on the elevated of silicon content in alloy.
Incoloy 330 keeps fully austenitic stainless steel from embrittlement in various temperature and stress.
It consists of a solid solution rather than by heat treatment hardening.
The alloy strength and oxidation resistance at high temperature makes itself a useful material in industrial furnace.
Incoloy 330 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance of high level, especially in involving oxidation, carburizing and nitriding.
In aqueous environment, the chromium content of alloy provides oxidation conditions,
and the content of nickel gives resistance to reducing conditions,
and also gives Incoloy 330 good high nickel chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance.
